My Therapeutic Approach
Healing begins with feeling safe, heard, and understood.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or a difficult life transition, my goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can share your story without fear of judgment. I believe every person has a unique story, and together we'll work to better understand how your experiences have shaped where you are today while helping you move toward the life you desire.
My approach to counseling is collaborative, personalized, and evidence-based. Every client is different, so I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your goals, I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
For clients healing from trauma, I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process difficult experiences so they no longer carry the same emotional weight. Whether your trauma stems from childhood experiences, loss, abuse, medical events, or other painful life circumstances, healing is possible.
I also recognize that counseling is about more than reducing symptoms. It's about discovering hope, building resilience, strengthening relationships, and developing the tools needed to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
For those who desire it, I am honored to integrate a Christian worldview into the counseling process. Together, we can explore how biblical truth, prayer, and faith can become sources of hope and healing while still utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
My role is not to tell you what your story should be. My role is to walk alongside you as you discover healing, growth, and the next chapter of your story.
Because every story has hope. Every chapter has purpose.
I offer integrative mental health counseling services for children ages 8+, adolescents, adults, and couples in an outpatient setting.

I am in-network with some Medicaid insurance plans. For clients out-of-network (Medicaid not eligible), I accept private pay (cash, credit, check), HSA/FSA payments, and can provide statements/receipts for you to submit to your insurance provider for out-of-network reimbursement.
If I am out-of-network for you and our rates are not workable for your budget, I offer a sliding scale.
Please note: out-of-network Medicaid plan holders are not eligible for private pay or sliding scale services.
